Dr. Amanda Suggs is a board-certified, fellowship-trained dermatologist who specializes in cosmetic dermatology procedures and treatments including but not limited to lasers, cosmetics, laser and light treatments for the skin.
Dr. Suggs grew up in Fort Pierce, Florida. She earned received her Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida. She earned received her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Miami. She completed her Internal Medicine internship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. After internship, she pursued a two-year research fellowship at Case Western Reserve University focusing on Photomedicine. She stayed at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve University to complete her dermatology residency, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident. After residency, Dr. Suggs completed a one-year American Society for Dermatologic Surgery accredited Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship under the direction of Dr. Paul M. Friedman at the Dermatology & Laser Surgery Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Suggs is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
